April 28th, 2010It has been a very busy spring here. We have enjoyed all the guests we’ve had, from bicyclist riding the Natchez Trace to honeymooners. We’ve also been busy with events and weddings, the spring is wonderful here with all the roses, azaleas, and loropetalum blooming.

November 25th, 2009We are setting up the gift shop in a mad dash to beat the grand opening weekend of the Victorian Christmas festival here in Canton MS. November 19th, 2009We have just gone into our winter rate period. We are priced comparably to Hampton Inn in Canton MS now. Of course we offer a true unique Historic Canton experience for your stay in town. The new rates are $90 – $115 for a double occupancy room in a Canton Mansion.

November 19th, 2009We are working on an idea of having a gift shop on the square, we’re preparing the store front for christmas anyway to make it pretty. In the process we are realizing that all we need is merchandise and we would have a shop! We have Heart’s content t-shirts, hats, aprons, Canton walking tour guides, Vicksburg cookbooks, some antiques and collectibles. So here’s the question for you out there: What would you like to see sold on the square?
