Wednesday, September 9th, 2009Ivy Sanford and Michael Pitts were married at Heart’s Content Bed & Breakfast in Canton, Mississippi on Saturday, September 5th, 2009 at 4:00 pm. They had a lovely garden ceremony with a Parlor reception following. The wedding cake was stacked with 3 blue tiers and the groom’s cake was designed to look like a stump, at the request of the groom, who loves hunting. Ivy’s bouquet was blue hydrangeas and her wedding dress was knee length and white cotton with an eyelet trim. Ivy remarked that her wedding was perfect! Good luck Ivy and Michael! We are glad we could help make your wedding day special and we hope you have many happy years together!

Weddings at The Grand Old Post Office in Canton MS

The GOP is on the historic square, so you could get married in front of the courthouse, and then have your reception at the Grand Old Post Office or at Heart’s Content Bed and Breakfast. Of course there is plenty of room at Heart’s Content to accomodate out of town guests, the bridal party, or just the newly weds for their honeymoon night.

These two homes are three houses away from each other, so if you are having your wedding at the Jiggets Home, you can have your honeymoon night at Heart’s Content which is also a bed and breakfast. Heart’s Contents four guest rooms are also great to have your friends, family, bridal party stay and be close to all the preparations and festivities. The Jiggets Home is catered by Loose Ends Catering and Wedding Services exclusively, and Heart’s Content has a list of approved caterers and will work with the bride to ensure her event has great food.
